How do I get there?
You can easily arrive at Newquay by train. Just be sure to keep track of the train time and fares. Finding a train should not be a problem since the train is a common form of transportation in the area.

You can also try getting to the area by boat. If you have come from France, then you will have some luck from riding the Brittany Ferries. Hailing a cab will not hurt either. You can call Trenance Cars (01637) 262626 for a quick ride.

How is the place?

The Headland Hotel is a 4-star hotel so you can expect a comfortable room with round the clock room service. The designs are mostly modern and the color palettes in each room are warm and soothing. The food at its dining hall and bar is also something to remember. Be sure to eat your fill with Headland Hotel’s presumptuous food.

What can I do there?

Actually, the activities you can do in this place cannot be counted. The key here is its strategic location. Once you come out, you will be greeted with a string of beaches namely Holywell Bay, Fistral Beach, Crantock Beach, Lusty Glaze, Newquay’s town beaches and Watergate Bay. With all these, you can swim, sail and surf all you want.

There are also some gardens nearby if you are looking for more relaxation than adventure. The sights will always be pleasing to your senses. There is also a massage therapist if you need one.

The rates of this hotel are super expensive. But it is worth every penny. The thing it has is that it is located in the heart of everything. You can simply step out and go to the other key places in Newquay. Even with its rates, this hotel is our top choice for anyone who want to experience Newquay to its fullest.

If you are looking to have an excursion with the one you love, then the House in the Sea along Newquay is the perfect option. It is an exclusive house situated on a private island reserved only for you and your partner. This makes it not only private but a romantic location especially for those couples who are in their honeymoon.

How do I get there?

You can get here by train for it is just 5 minutes away from the Newquay station. It is also just about 15 minutes from the Newquay airport if you are arriving by plane. However, if you have come from London, then it is only a 4 and a half hour drive. Unfortunately, there are no helipads if you are planning to arrive by helicopter.

How is the place?

The place is designed in a traditional style. Antique furniture and wooden flooring are its unique features. The bedroom is luxurious with a beautiful bed and refreshing floral design. This is also coupled with a terrace where one can spend time gazing at the beauty of the sky or the stars and gives a panoramic view of the sunset.

What can I do there?

The island is perfect for swimming, fishing, sailing, boating and other water related activities for it is surrounded by a deep blue ocean and a sandy beach. Other activities you can do in this place is to sunbathe, stargaze at night or enjoy a good breakfast with your partner.

How much?

Their prices are pretty consistent. It is £160.00 per night if you are planning to stay 2 nights or more and up to £175 per night for one night only.

Overall Rating

The overall appearance of this accommodation is amazing. From the outside to the inside, this little house in the sea has really something to brag about. The only downside I saw is its cost. It is on the expensive side as opposed to the cheap guest houses in the Newquay area. But I guess a good place comes with a reasonable price.

Overall, the place is of high quality. All of their rooms contain coloured televisions and tea or coffee makers. The decorations are also something to admire while it is securely heated which suits the weather in the area.

What can I do there?

You can enjoy Newquay through its various areas which are only a couple of blocks away from Westward. It will only take you a three-minute walk if you like to go to their shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. On top of that, you can also walk to the nearby Zoo, Boating Lake, Water World and gardens.

The beaches are perfect for swimming and surfing while the other areas will amuse you with all the things to sightsee.

Overall Rating

Our overall rating for this accommodation is 4.5 out of 5. It only lacks a bit of high class furniture but the other areas are great especially its amazing accessibility to key areas in Newquay. But it is okay since this house wants to promote refreshing rooms rather than highly luxurious ones.
